Odessa, 2008
Odessa got a custom patchwork dress made from all her favorite colors.  After reading
a bit more about her on Myspace, I learned Odessa had a strong love for sunflowers.
Incorporating them into the design of the dress captured the memory of her late
Grandmother.
A dress like this can be worn forever!  Her dress featured braided straps, gathered
bodice and lace-up back.  Each patch was sewn from a parallelogram-shaped piece,
serged, then top-stitched in matching-colored thread.
Tiffany, 2008
Married on the beach of Assateague Island, MD, Tiffany wanted a simple dress that would not
take away from the natural beauty  that surrounded her on her special day.  Pure unbleached
muslin became the base of the dress, with highlights of mocha brown satin trim and 3D flowers
at the bodice.  Her dress was strapless, featured a lace-up back, and had tiers of fabric at the
center back panel.  An underskirt was made so she could more freely stroll about the beach
and enjoy the rest of her honeymoon with a skirt that could be worn as everyday wear.
Steph, 2007
For her special day, Steph wanted something free-flowing and one
of a kind.  We used crinkled gauze, eyelet, and white muslin for her
dress.  3D daisy flower appliques are all around, including the ends
of the strapping, intentionally left un-even lengths to further
accentuate the cascading daisies.

Kate
September, 2009
Kate chose my traditional Goddess Dress for her forest-meets-ocean themed
wedding. Cut shorter than traditional wedding gowns, this dress featured a
matching full-length underskirt with patchwork trim.
The dress is constructed of natural hemp/organic cotton muslin, royal blue, sage
green, and chocolate brown hemp/organic cotton I hand-dyed to her preference.
The dress was modified a bit from my original pattern and ties in the back.
