All sorts of jewel-toned corduroy fabrics here, all 100% cotton, various wales,
and patches of green hand-dyed hemp. Strips of soft wide-wale burgundy wine
corduroy, purple medium wale, and hand-dyed hemp separate the rows of
patchwork. Gathers at the tiers allow lots of spin at the hem, while the shaped
upper portion pulls in the waistline. Each and every seam is top-stitched for a
nice flat finish. You can adjust this to your size with the built-in belt that can be
tied on either side. Hand-dyed Egyptian cotton make up the ruffle, belt, and belt
carriers.
This looks best on a medium-sized mama, or a bigger mama who would wear a
fitted shirt to best show off the shape of this wonderful skirt.

This is a tribute set for my favorite band Midnite. ~Their reggae rhythms just
move my soul~ I've used a musical note black fabric for the base of this, and
angled the panels for a more fitted waist, and more flare at the bottom. Notice
how the panels angle down in the front, giving it that PIXIE look! I used 3
different prints for the rasta colors, and finished it off with a generous angle-cut
ruffle. In the front, I've put a large applique of a butterfly with a line from one of
Midnite's songs. This one ties in the back for a nice clean finish. It also has a
pocket on the side that closes with a button for your loot!
Waist: out to 48", cinches down to any size

taupe color. Along with a patchwork of various hemps, most hand-dyed by me
top-stitched with care. Cut a-line for a slight flare. Circles (or bubbles?)
abound, the largest one beholding a dragonfly-toting *Fairy*. Hand-dyed hemp
LONG ties, wrapping around the belly to your size.
Actual waist length: 59 1/2", needs at least 7 inches overlap

great amount of stretch to it. This is made from 2 half circles, so there is LOTS
of spin! Bias-cut trim and waistband in a cute brown and green floral. The lady
intertwined amongst these vines and leaves is simply magical!
Fits waist sizes 40" thru 50", with plenty of room for overlap
36" long and a ridiculous amount of spin!

| Tree-Huggin' Fairy Tiered Hemp Skirt |
Oh, who doesn't find fairies just simply magical?? I just love the simplicity of this
skirt. The base starts with some hemp/recycled poly Twill that I dyed to a sandy
brown. Yup! That's right! Recycled Polyester!!! A beautiful owl and leaf print
quilt shop fabric and another hand-dyed hemp/organic cotton make up the
double tiers. Each tier is generously gathered and top-stitched for longevity and
smooth feel inside. All seams are double-top-stitched for a professional look.
The waistband cinches down in the back with a hand-braided hemp twine
drawstring featuring wooden beads and sterling silver clapper bells that ring as
you walk and dance. The fairy appliqué was hand-drawn, featuring a bashful
fairy hugging a tree and mushrooms growing alongside. A small pocket on the
left side features a free-hand "Hug a Tree" appliqué. I decided to keep the
scene a bit more "cartoon-ish" and less realistic.
I recommend washing this inside a lingerie bag, or by hand, so the decorative drawstring
doesn't get mangled in the washing machine.
